  They do Dependable work but they're not afraid to upsell once in awhile. They fix the terrible electrical problem with my Toyota Camry and it is been fine ever since.

  I took my vehicle there for an estimate on my exhaust since it is around the corner from my house. They said everything from the manifold back neeeded to be replaced-$1,548 was the quote. Said I was debating getting it fixed or trading in for a newer vehicle. Alex (service writer who is always there) tried using scare tactics and said the vehicle was in great shape and we should get it fixed instead of getting a new vehicle. I picked my car up and went to OXBO Exhaust in Joliet for a second opinion. OXBO fixed everything on my exhaust that Bartels quoted for only $240. Bottom line - Bartels will try to replace everything instead of only what needs fixing. They lost my business. I will not go there even for an oil change anymore. Beware.
